JOSÉ LUIS REYES VILLAMIZAR: Born 1961. He holds a Law
Degree from Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá (1987).
Mr. Reyes earned a Master’s Degree in Management (emphasis
in International Business) from the George Washington University,
Washington, D.C. in 1992 (Fulbright Scholar). Mr. Reyes
was Head of the Legal Affairs Office and then Legal Advisor
and Deputy Head of the Industrial Property Delegation at
The Superintendence of Trade and Industry, which deals in
Colombia with Industrial Property, Competition Law and Consumer
Protection Affairs. He has also been advisor to the Ministers
of Justice and International Trade of Colombia dealing with
areas of Procedural Law, Intellectual Property and Litigation.
Since 1994 he has been advising REYES & REYES’
clients in the major areas of concentration of the firm.
He is current professor of commercial law and international
business law at different universities.

- JUAN PABLO REYES VILLAMIZAR: Born 1970. He holds
a Law Degree from Javeriana University. He has been advisor
to the Colombian Ministry of Industry and Ministry of Mining.
In addition to his ample experience in the areas of contracts,
industrial property, litigation and sanitary law, he has been
member of different boards of directors in public and private
corporations, especially in the Mining sector. He is currently
in charge of filing and prosecuting trademark, patent and
industrial design petitions at the Colombian Industrial Property
Agency for Reyes & Reyes´ clients.
- FRANCISCO REYES VILLAMIZAR: Born 1963. He holds a
law degree from Javeriana University. He earned a Master of
Law degree from the University of Miami (1994). He worked
at middle and high level positions at the Colombian Superintendence
of Corporations, including the highest position (Superintendent
of Corporations). Francisco Reyes has written several books
in the field of Colombian and comparative corporate law and
bankruptcy. He has advised selected companies in corporate
affairs, procedures and operations, including incorporations,
amendment of articles of incorporation and bylaws, mergers
& acquisitions, bankruptcy, etc. He was the Chairman of
the Graduate Program at Commercial Law at Universidad de Los
Andes in Bogotá, for several years. He is permanent
professor of Corporate Law in Colombia and visiting professor
at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (US).
